Wool & Cotton Cushions

The limited edition Yamuna Collection features organic handloom wool produced by a fair-trade collective of female artisans in Himachal Pradesh, a mountainous state in northern India where the Yamuna River rises from the slopes of the Himalayas. The
natural beauty of the region is captured in the small-batch tweeds and felted wool- the water in which they are washed, the sheep from which the wool is sheared, the villages where they are spun. They carry their provenance with them, and are juxtaposed against the vibrant Kalamkari prints of southern India. The cushions are trimmed in cotton velvet.
